Most of our leads come from WhatsApp ads. They fill a short form, and the best moment to talk to them is the next few minutes, while the idea is still fresh. A human team cannot call every lead that fast, at night or on a busy day, so we built an AI caller to do the first call.
Riya calls the lead from an Indian business number, introduces herself as an automated assistant, talks through what they wrote in the form, and books a 15-minute demo call with our founder. She speaks Gujarati first, and switches to Hindi or English when the caller does.
Getting there took more than a good prompt. Gujarati speech, phone-line latency, Indian calling regulations and the small manners of a phone call each needed their own engineering. This is what we learned.
